Description

The Crossed Arm Slide is one of the easiest ways to get into a cross-handed position. The leader guides the follow to loop her arm over her head while he does the same, then they slide off to a right-to-right hand hold.

Side Lean

Description

For the Side Lean, the leader positions the follower beside him in a low cross-handed position, then lunges to the side to have her lean against him and wrap her leg around him. It is very stylish and flirtatious. This is similar to the Back Lean.

Description

Hammerlock is a variation on the Outside Turn with both hands connected. The leader turns the follower so that one arm is tucked behind her back, and the other crosses in front of him.

Description

While the Push-off Spin is very simple to do, having a strong understanding of maintaining contact will help you be more successful at moves like these where contact is briefly lost. It is similar to an Outside Turn, without the help of the leader’s right hand.
