I wanted to let you know that there is a small (and growing every semester) group of college students in Champaign-Urbana who LOVE to country swing. I definitely use this page as a resource – actually the only resource, as everything else I’ve found on the web is closer to West Coast – and I know some of the other “instructors” / frequent flyers do too. We meet in the basement of our school’s Catholic center, turn on country music, and have a blast! Friendships and relationships have formed, and we’ve all gotten a lot better and have a mission to get everyone at the Catholic center swing dancing. Thank you so much for this amazing library – swing dance has made my life more exciting, has helped me to form stronger social skills and musicality, and helped me to make a lot of friends.
